We have been building our team little by little this year.
My partner Michael keeps reminding me to delegate to elevate.
I am the blizzard, and he is the snow plough.
We complement each other because of our differences.
We hired a social media VA a few months ago.
I’m sorry I didn’t do it sooner.
It was a game-changer that freed up my time and energy to be the CEO and plan what is next for us.
Then I paid it forward and referred her to about half a dozen other clients and colleagues and they too had the same experience.
We have a team of coaches too that we can count on so we can keep growing and serving our clients at the highest level possible and have fun doing it.
We all serve different roles in our businesses.
We are worker bees who create the product or deliver the service.
Then when we start to grow, we have to move into the manager role to develop processes, systems, and routines to duplicate ourselves by hiring other people and teach them how to do what we do.
Then eventually, we work our way out of all the jobs in our company until we are free to plan and prepare and be the visionary entrepreneur who leads everyone to the next stage.
Michael Gerber wrote a book called The E-Myth that every entrepreneur should read.
It puts things in perspective and helps you leverage your time, talent, and technology to scale your business without working yourself to death.
If you want to build wealth through your business, you will have to delegate to elevate and hire, train, and lead other people to work for you so you can live a life you love living.
Where could you buy back some of your time?
It may be more doable than you think.
